When I purchased this album it was only available through the bands website. After I made the purchase to my surprise Papa Ortega who leads the band emailled and asked me what I thought and I did not have to lie when I said it was a great album and I am looking forward to the next one when they get around to it. Papa Ortega was originally with The SAR label  band ,Aflerdo Valdez ran the label and
they had a real Cuban Son  sound to the music with tres which I love plus the usual brass and percussion and piano and Cubanason are much in the same mould. Anyway if anyone is looking for salsa band in New York,Wedding ,Party etc these are your boys. They are not slouches invited to play at the international Salsa Congress etc. Big smile
