I really like them both, but I think I'd give Discipline an easy 5, and I'd end up rating Red with a 4. Larks' is the masterpiece from the Wetton era, I think.

I go for the entire Wetton-era trilogy ...brilliant stuff

I'm more of a Belew man myself (call me an utter fanatic), but I quite like the Wetton era as well. I love King Crimson; I would probably not rate anything lower than 4 stars except for some of their really early stuff.

Miles is fantastic, but it's tough for me to carry on a marathon with him because of the economical nature of his style. I could listen to Coltrane for days though.

I mean, why even come to this site if that's the case? There's not that many "classic" bands...it's not hard to acquire their entire discography, then you can just listen to them over and over...
