Morning Rob, how's life?
| Had to rip my computer apart this morning and reassemble it because it wasn't working , but for some reason, I feel like today will be a great day! I just don't know why yet!
Maybe it's this awesome pink shirt I'm wearing.
Or it could be the 5 star Rush review I'm going to post today.

I don't think KTU is that misplaced being in RIO/Avant, but I guess Eclectic would work as well. I'm just not 100% convinced.

That's impossible. Rush don't have a 5-star album.

| You must have them confused with Tangerine Dream.

I'm starting with Quiver. Who initiated this move, anyway?

No, that's "too many" 5-star albums. I can't confuse "not a single one" with "too many", they're too far apart.

Start with the bloody debut!! (aka NOT Quiver) Dunno precisely. But Trey Gunn and Pat Mastelloto are in it, probably more than musicians.

You had me in your buddy list?? I haven't used that in 3 years. And I only put Blowfus and a member named Titan, with whom I talked heavily about Genesis. He disappeared afterwards.

I wanted to hear their most "eclectic" release first - if I still thought it was more appropriate for Avant, I would oppose the move.

| Excerpt from The Tangerine Dream method of producing music:
1. Push record. 2. Turn on automatic synthesizers.3. Make coffee. 4. Have coffee while watching Sanford & Son 5. Turn on a second automatic synthesizer. 6. Take a dump. 7. Turn on third automatic synthesizer. 8. Cook lunch. 9. Turn off first two automatic synthesizers, and turn on a third one. 10. Read a bit of Melody Maker. 11. Press stop. 12. Get blind six-year-old niece to paint an album cover. 13. Repeat process for the next album.

I'm listening to the new Nemo album Barbares for the first time. This is my first experience with Nemo, so you could say that I am Finding Nemo. (A little humor for my buddies with 2 to 5 year olds).

How's it sounding? It doesn't get better than Barbares or Si Partie II.

The way Chris Syz put it makes sense, as this album progresses I can see Eclectic being a good home. Sort of like a Fripp/ProjeKct with accordion.

So they make a 5-star album, and by repeating the process, they make many more 5-star albums.
| I think "Loved by the Sun" is the best thing they've ever done.

So far, 2 songs in I am loving it. The music is really good, and the French vocals aren't a distraction. Of course, I have no idea what they are singing about, but ... I am still enjoying it.
