Not that it's that big of a deal, but here is the wikipedia page for the album:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Lies_(Solder_Theory_album)

There was a wiki page for Solder Theory as well, but it got deleted, lol.

Cool news! Kalle (St. Cleve Chronicle) is joining the team as an additional lead electric guitar player! Clap

*snip*

There are a couple possible drummers involved in this already, and maybe a vocalist, but if anyone else wants to contribute to the project, just say so. The more the merrier. Smile

Yeah, they basically told me that in order for a band to 'eligible' for inclusion on Wikipedia, they have to have released at least two albums on a pro record label. Ermm

*sigh*

Which is of course a somewhat disingenuous thing to say...

Circa is there, and they aren't on a label at all.

No worries. Once we get a huge following, I bet they'll reconsider. TongueWink

And that's when you tell them to remove your band page, that they aren't worthy of you!

Ha . . . well, it seems they finally deleted the album page as well, so Solder Theory once again no longer exists, according to the fine fellows at wiki-suckmycork-pedia. Wink

I really think that's such a stupid and arbitrary rule.

It's 2009, not 1979. Dead

Well, it wouldn't have bothered me too much, except . . . that took a lot of work on my part, setting up an artist page and an accompanying article about the upcoming album. Embarrassed

Ah, well. Someday, perhaps.

Yeah, I think that's ridiculous.

I'm applying for an additional third guitar, or just 12 string, and maybe the flute if I can.
Trendsetter win!

The search for nonexistent perfection.

Great to hear this dude - Amazing stuff!

Hope it all goes well, and I'll grab this one if I have some leftover cash!

Hey, just in case some people may still be interested, the official myspace page is currently streaming two demo clips of songs in-the-works, a 98% finished full song (soon to be updated!), and one ambient interlude piece. It's all planned to go on the album next year, so hopefully it will serve as a bit of a 'taste' as to what the finished product will sound like, even if the stuff is still fairly rough at the moment.

Let me know how it's sounding, guys. And be honest (but nice)! Wink

Wikipedia says your album was deleted because it isn't important or significant !

I'm listening to the tracks now - I'll post back soon!

Untitled Demo is really nice - Simple and virtuosic, and great, fresh sounds!

Now listening to Somewhere Inside... The piano sounds quite thin and fake-ish on this one, if that makes sense. The vocals remind me of early Maynard! Production isn't great, but its a lovely track with some really interesting instrumentation.

Great work p0mt3!
Keep it up... And PM me when its available to order!

Thanks for listening! And for the input! Big smile

Yeah, the production on this isn't going to sound as good as it potentially could sound, because this album is being done on our own. No studio time, no producer. Unfortunately. Cry

Oh, and the 'piano' on ''Somewhere Inside'' isn't an actual piano. It's a keyboard. That may be why it sounds thin. Or it could just be because I'm no good at the mixing. Either way though, I hope that stuff didn't detract too much from the listening experience.

^That was what I was getting at about the piano - I meant it sounded artificial, but considering it was self produced, it still sounded fantastic!

^ I see.

Yeah, hopefully the next time around I will be ale to have people go into an actual studio with me, but that's a long ways down the road yet. For now, I am just grateful that the people who ARE working on this with me have done such a great job considering.

And yes, I'll let you know when it's all finished. That won't be for a year, though. Tongue
