So Dear Hunter are making 6 chapters? They've lost the edge since the first one. Disapprove

I had no clue about that question and went for the maximum, 'cause it sounded like they're pretentious enough to make 9 parts. LOL

Primus, Praxis, Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains and I daresay, Deli Creeps, are not metal bands.

Buckethead is rather eclectic with his tastes and isn't really a metal man, as such.  Not even Guns 'n Roses are that metal.

Not to mention prolific....3 albums this year already. A Real Diamond in the Rough is REALLY good. Clap

He is associated with the metal scene too, of course but when I think of him, I think of Primus and Praxis mostly.

I thought they were finished. But then I saw all those numbers, higher than 3, so I went with 5.

You were hoping they're finished, I know I was.

Not that I've heard any of their music, mind you but I'll use any excuse to make Alex stop mentioning them every other post. LOL

I didn't see them mentioned too often...

One thing I'm glad, is that Townsend shaved his head after Ki. Phew! He could've divorced his wife, if in such a mood...

(Close to) my thoughts precisely. The first album, though, sounds mighty good.

He was pretty much bald anyway, so I didn't go for that option.  I forget which one I chose though.

10,000 Days > Lateralus

If only because the tones and sound effects are miles more interesting. Also, it's not as nu-metal.

10,000 Days put me off Tool.

It just sounded so staid and uninventive.

I still like Aenima and Lateralus but not as much as I used to.

Plus I've seen them live and well... they disappointed me.

Lateralus is easily the most overrated album in the history of modern music.

Actually, I tend to agree with you on this.

Also, it's become patently obvious to me.

I prefer AC/DC's For Those About to Rock, We Salute You to Pain of Salvation's Scarsick.

And I find AC/DC's music uninventive, unimaginative and repetitive.  They're catchy, have ridiculous lyrics and have had two ridiculous sounding vocalists.  They have a stupid stage image and are annoyingly popular.

Yet I prefer all their music over Scarsick.

That's just going to far. LOL but Scarsick is just so bad...I'd rather take a cheese grater to my face than hear that again...though I do own it.
