What I wanna know is why. I mean, people would have still respected you here if you'd have simply apologised for being a little bit of a douche instead of creating your own little sob story to try and justify it. The fact that you called Transatlantic a prog metal band isn't really a reason to be a dick to someone. Just inform them as to was metal really is If you want to know what real prog metal is then I, amongst many others on this site, would be more than glad to help you out on that one.

I didn't f**king mean it! I just never heard a song by them and heard MP of DT was there so I called them prog metal!

I agree that I shouldn't have treated him any differently, but, the thing is, he used this as justification for why he may have been rude, and I don't agree with that in any way or form.
Lets just say his parents actually did die - I wouldn't treat him differently to begin with, but, when someone opens a thread called "Why I can be annoying at times..." and then discusses that they've had a somewhat stressful life saying that their parents died before they reached the age of 6, I'd generally try to be semi-empathetic to any outbursts they may express towards me or any other.

Ok, I maybe agree with that, but sometimes people go too far, whatever the justification.
Forgivness ie good though.
