Man, I am old enough to remember TVs like that.  Back in the day, the family had this honking furniture stereo piece with a turntable in it.  In '72 (I was 7) when we were moving from Virginia to Georgia I remember having an argument with one of the moving guys who insisted it was a wardrobe and I said, no, it's a stereo.  Of course this may all be a stupid dream memory. LOL
