All of the Son of Arathorn's threads tend to get better over time...

Now it'll get worse. And this coming from someone who doesn't enjoy writing music reviews or reading them generally: I'd suggest that instead of asking other people what you should review, you should let the music choose you. If it inspires you, or you have something you really want to express about the music, then review it.
Alternately, for fun, you could try a poll where you express your general sentiments/ ideas, main points that you want to make, or your angle/ point of attack, for potential reviews that you are considering making, and then we choose based on your expressed opinions. For my preference, I voted for You again (Gong's You, not a vote for you), but I have no idea which review is really best for you -- which album will generate the most inspired review. People complain of narcissism, but your choice should reflect on your muse (even if that muse is ultimately yourself -- your facets that draw you to something). Follow your bliss, just try not to drown when you see you reflection staring back up at you. And if making these polls is following your bliss, and reflects on your personality and way of making choices in life, then go right ahead with them. I might suggest a central thread without a poll, though, where you can list your newest choices and ask what people think so that you don't have to keep on making new polls all the time. It's more important what people have to say, and your discussions with them, than a simple vote which merely reflects on other's tastes. Follow your tastes, inclinations. and sensations, would be my suggestion, but that also implies that there is no reason why you should follow my suggestions. |

No worries, and I am incredibly indecisive, and too often regret my decisions even if I've obsessively spent ages weighing up my options (more usually I don't like to weigh at all and ignore them until crunch-time). I have OCD, and it commonly affects me quite profoundly.

Angel's Egg since I kinda quite like the Canterbury scene. Argus, Gentle Giant, or others wouldn't be bad, either.

Speaking of Argus (a little too much in this thread), I'm starting a Wishbone Ash cover band. |

I'm not exactly an authority here, but I think the insults have gone far enough right now. I don't even know this guy, but there is one thing I do know: I'm here for the benefit of my music tastes, not to make attacks at people.
Farewell to Kings gets my vote. |

Just a question: Why is your seventeenth review worthy of it's own thread? I understand like 100 or 500, but 17??
