Woo, I got a book about John Zorn as a gift!

Woo, I'm going to a jazz festival this weekend!

Let see... "Seasong for The Moominpappa" by Ritual, for instance.  And "Chest Pain Waltz" by Freak Kitchen.  I'm about to listen to Ozric Tentacles too.

Never heard of the first two, but what little Ozrics I've heard didn't sound too weird.

Enjoy the festival Rico, sounds cool!

Excellent.  What a fun band.  Which album?

I could use a lot more from them.  I may play them today as well if I have time.

Theoretically, it's the hottest in this country.

And I've got three PA artists lined up. Abercrombie, Rypdal and NP Molvaer.

Now...should I add to my luggage the Zorn book I just received or a novel by Jerome K. Jerome...

Uh...the first one I guess.  (can't ever remember the names).

Why only one track?

I've only heard them once and remember not liking them.  I will tell you what I think (in about an hour when my request is played.) LOL

I'm listening to Maltid now.  Big smile

Actually, I wasn't initially thrilled with SMM - definitely need a few listens.  This opening track is pretty accessible though.

I'm listening to my request "Syx" by The Gourishankar...you really need that album.  It's brilliant.

Heart Witchwood Heart

Quote The witchwood started singing
With a strange unearthly sound
My fingers grew like branches
I stood rooted to the ground
And the spell is still unbroken
I am still her bidden slave
Till a casket from the witchwood
Bears my body to the grave.

Best prog folk song I've yet heard.

Glad to hear it, even if my name is Patrick.

Try to grab that album if you ever get the chance.

Why the hell did I say Scott?  Confused

I've called Henry Harry before...which I guess is excusable (he didn't seem to think so), but this is a bit crazier...I wasn't even drinking...I am now...but...sorry Pat...Embarrassed

And yes, I'll check our some more tracks in the coming days and maybe pick it up when I can. Smile
