We have a virtual shed and we can imagine any panoramic view we like. Surely that beats his shed easily?
Plus there is an endless supply of alcohol in the fridge and Jim's bar full of Real Ale is fantastic. Speaking of Real Ale, a friend told me the other day that Real Ale contains a lot of estrogen and therefore is responsible for manboobs. I'd cut down if I were you! |

Ahem - You will note no mention of any of the following: Old stick for stirring paint Dead lawn mower Unused garden impliment, the purchase of which seemed like a good idea at the time Partially used tins of paint Partially used container of slug pellets Dirt Plastic tarpaulin covered with unidentified stains and/or dead snails ![]() Shed? I think not. [edit] See below: That's a shed. Edited by Jim Garten - July 13 2009 at 02:23 |

Shed of the Year - 'The Kite Cabin' A cabin is not a shed.
Perhaps the 'shed' was originally built on the ground but a squirrel hid an acorn beneath it... Edited by Man Erg - July 13 2009 at 03:02 |

Agreed. Arthur Lee and Love observed, accurately, that 'A House is not a Motel'. Bacharach and David clarified matters with the remark that '... a chair is not a house'. Now it's time to unite in song and tell the world:
'A Cabin is not a Shed'!

Yes, the spacing is terrible..
![]() actually, I remember a rather good one, outside a row of shops in the centre of the village I grew up in:
'Disadled Parking'
When my father found out that the reprobates responsible were ex-pupils of his, we teased him about not doing a very good job, to which he replied that he had tried to teach them some Science, but would pass my concerns onto their beleaguered ex-English teacher...

^ the railway station in Midland Road Bedford proudly displayed itself as Brititish Rail, Bedford in 3-foot high letters for a while in the 80s until some spoilsport pointed out the error.

changing the subject... is anyone else currently being plagued by thunderflies, you know, those microscopic, tiny black insects (used to be known as 'thrips' up north) which get in your hair, eyes, mouth and practically everything you touch?...
![]() I've got a couple which have found their way onto the inside of my computer screen, which I find most disconcerting...
