Yesterday was a great day.
Went with a friend to visit two other female-friends, pretty cool. And then we went back at home with another friend to eat pizza and talk until 5:00 AM!!! Played some poker, few cigarretes, a lot of laughs...great..
Funny I had pizza last night as well; a kid who was with us literally vanished. My two buddies spent an hour looking for him. I felt like I was in the coffee house from Seinfeld with my friends coming in and out of the pizza shop bringing attention to themselves. I didn't mind the alone time with a lady friend of mine. The old sport wasn't found when I left...very bizarre
I would prefer a few cold beers and a cigar with that poker. Cigarettes aren't my cup of tea, they somehow aggravate me rather than calm me down. I do love me a good cigar
Like the relation you made with Seinfeld And I agree on the beer > cigarretes, though it was in my house and my parents were here, so...

Hey guys

I'd say the Guitar Hero franchise is one of the most pathetic and disgusting excuses for entertainment in today's gen. Playing that song in a desire to gain points on a video game is not how anyone should listen to prog; or appreciate such beautiful art for that matter.
I feel like the only moderate when it comes to GH. It's either "GH ROCKS! I TOTALLY RULE AT IT! I CAN LIKE PLAY KING CRIMSON!"
or "Its the worst thing ever in music/ruins good songs/make everyone think they can play guitar and like good music"
I do agree....most GH nuts are f*cking tools that think they can actually play guitar, and usually only know the 1 song that is on the game. I do love the blank mindless expression they get when I ask, "name a song by Muse (or whatever band) BESIDES "x"
However, it can be a mindless fun game. Also, there are the few good ones that actually use GH to listen to the bands and are inspired to play guitar.
But whatever, I'm off to totally shred like Steve Vai gais!

I don't even play Guitar Hero because the music is crap, but people who think it's f**king evil are intolerable. OH NO A GAME IS GOING TO DESTROY OUR PRECIOUS MUSIC!
I also have wasted a lot of time around gamers, and I've never met someone who thinks Guitar Hero has anything to do with real guitar. With the amount of venom spewed towards this elusive group of people, you'd think some of them would have to exist.

I have Guitar Hero, I thought it was pretty fun. Playing it didn't make me think I could play guitar, or otherwise "ruin" music for me, because....big shock.....IT'S A f**kING VIDEO GAME.

The damn music is destroying my video gaming. In my day, you had to use your imagination for the sounds... but no, you get to have your King Crimson rubbish ruining my hours of silent joy. And there are the people who play guitar who think they can play guitar hero... damn punks.

Thank You. And you are lucky...I HAVE met a few who think it translates into real guitar skill. And if you can stomach it....try youtube. You are bound to see it there.
