Unlike most people on here, I think PtS was a fairly average release. It screamed too much of Kayo Dot's Blue Lambency Downward (which I actually enjoy immensely). I'll take Bath and Body Map any day over PtS.

Funny. I downloaded that back on the day that it was posted here in the forums, but I still haven't listened to PtS yet. I don't expect to like it, so I'm not really all that interested in it, but I really should give it a listen.

I downloaded it the day it was released (having not heard anything by them before) and for a long time it was pretty meh, with some interesting parts though. Today I finally listened to it with thought and... well... listened to it four times again after that first one

The singer for Abigail's Ghost really sounds like Steve Wilson. They are definitely Porcupine Tree's Starcastle.

Yeah, I really do need to give it a few more chances. But honestly, every time I've heard it so far just made me want to listen to Leaving Your Body Map or Bath instead. @Scott: I'd give it a chance soon. Given your tastes, you'd probably enjoy it a bit more than me.

I've heard Starcastle's debut, and I honestly don't care if they sound like Yes clones or not. It was a darn good album, especially the first track.

I like Starcastle. And I think that both of Abigails Ghost's albums are very good. They just sound a lot like Porcupine Tree. For me that is a great thing. For others, not so much.

Perhaps I should try the other albums out some day now that I'm warming up to Kayo Dot as well. I'll probably get Choirs of the Eye in the mail tomorrow, I've listened to it three times on Spotify so far.
Now I'm off to bed, I'll listen to some more Astra later. The first two tracks at myspace left a very good impression after all, thanks Scott for the tip
