I mean, I'm just wondering what the hell happened for it to be that bad.

Safina No. 1 in the world? LOL

What happened there? That was a disaster.

I knew it would happen, she rarely has a reply ready for the Williams sisters.

1. Safina is not that amazing
2. she's not that comfortable on grass
3. she's the puppet no. 1 in the world and hasn't won a Slam
4. Venus is a Williams, meaning she wins by default
5. Venus is a man

World rankings are based on consistency. The W sisters are basically lazy outside the Slams.

When it comes to the WTA though, the ranking says little these days. Since Henin, no one has shown the skills of an "alpha female".

W sisters don't count, they've been in the game since the Renaissance.

I figured it would, but I didn't expect total blowout.

I still have no clue why Henin retired... she was No. 1 at the time and I bet she still could be in the top 10, even now.

It's her choice though.

Yeah, but she started being beaten by everyone. It was a shocking retirement, but since it all turned upside-down in her game...

It could have had something to do with her divorce.

I think she could make a comeback if she wanted to.  Gosh, Hingis and that other lass are still quite young too, yet retired.  They retire under 30 now, it's weird.

I don't remember too well, but she played another year or so after dropping the Hardenne part in her name.

Yes but it could have still had an impact.

I remember when Hingis was 16 and playing Navratilova... yet she's retired now.  Navratilova was still playing on the circuit until well into her 30s and was still pretty consistent too.

It finishes Sunday, don't worry. Big smile

Oh and I'm away from next Tuesday 'til Thursday evening, so you can all finally get some peace and quiet from me.

Rico, that tennis game you play, is it the best tennis game available and is it available on the PC?
