Sticking with my California theme:

California Transport Authority - Full Circle.  This includes Marc Bonilla, who is featured on the new Keith Emerson Band album, and Danny Seraphine, the original Chicago drummer.  Mostly Chicago cover songs.

Desi Arnaz made this song famous. Babalu is one of the Orishas (  Cuban Gods). He represents diesease and sickness and is usually depicted covered in sores. So when everyone in the 50's was jumping round yelling Babalu I don't think they knewWink After Beny More this bloke would be one of the most famous of the old Cuban Singers. He also was an ex boxer. Recorded between 1949 to 1951

When I put up the guitarists poll I can't believe I missed this bloke myself. As you may have noticed the poll was from all genres and I wracked the old brain thinking of a Latin Guitarist  apart from Marc Ribot but I was stuck thinking of Salsa artists and needed a bit of the old lateral insteadThumbs Up
