Fascinating doesn't suit well, but let me say it's another great, great work! Even if I had expected a brighter background, still it fits well after all. I really like the top like if it were those things of the video tapes, the scenes... Also had expected a bit more than just...well, Frank....maybe Ruth Underwood or Terry Bozzio with the devil's mask. Yeah I know, there were hundreds of musicians on board with Zappa, so that makes sense why you didn't put any of them.
Sorry if I'm sounding a bit harsh, not really my intention...just my thoughts...

I see there's a rather large dark area. I think I know the significance of that... The chronological Zappa on guitar images from his career at the top are rather nice.

mmmmm What is the significance? 'cause I might not know it.. Thanks.! |
If it wasn't intentionally this, it's the void he has left.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

No! don't apology! I truthfully appreciated your criticism and personal view. well Like I said at the intro post. This most be one of the most difficult college I ever made so far, and maybe the one that had taken me the longest. specially the "We're only in for the Money" Image. the Problem I guess is that most zappa artwork are his face not the musicians that played in his band. 80% of them. to answer your question why I didn't use any of the musicians? well I really did! take a real close to the bottom right image ( We are only In for the Money ) I changed 99% of all the faces images and replaced with the band members. take a real close look.I used a dark background because the main images are his face and were originally done in a black background.

Hi,
Dark ... that is a magnificent piece of work ... you should send a copy of it to Gail, Dweezil and the record label ... you will probably find your work being used and paid for ... this is excellent stuff.
I didn't see 200 Motels on it btw ... needs to be there. The toilet shot is not needed, as I think it is one of the things that a lot of music honchos in Hollywood don't like ... to admit they are human and have to defecate once in a while instead of just chasing girls in a hollywood bungalow.

Thanks Buddy! I will.. but do you have such email to contact them? That sound great . I am dying to my collage to be publish in a record label or do so officially work for a band. I truthfully appreciate your sincerely wishes. Thanks.
200 Motels and others I didn't include them becuase I was afraid to over crowded the collage. I want to keep it a bit simpler, but at the same time "WILD" like zappa's music. got it? That would be awesome if this artwork is publish as an album cover.

Nicely put together and I also like the how the black/dark theme ties it together. It makes me want to spend more time trying to get into more Zappa. My favorite right after the PF one, but I like it more than the Miles Davis one, although I love them all. I look forward your next collage.

That sound good! I guess that's the point and I am glad that I can be a vehicle to move prog fans to get into a band or genre that might be unknown to them . wow I am soo touch and honor ! That even happen to me when I did the collage about the Italian bands. I discovered and now I am a fan many bands that were obscure Well, I only knew the 4 main ones ( Le Orme, PFM, Area and Banco). bands like Osanna, II Balletto Di Bronzo (Ys), Delirum, Cervello ect... Incredible bands that made incredible music as good as the known ones.. I highly recommend them. Well, Genesis is next is coming along pretty Good.
