I am certainly not an expert on Bjork, but her album Medulla is one of the most progressive pieces of music put in major production during the 2000's. It seems a shame not to have it on the site.
I've found no full samples but this site includes 30 second snippets.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

The folks that govern this site have very clearly stated that if you have one progressive album that your whole discography will be included. Some other artists who, erm, have some very non-progressive material are here for that reason.

So I was right then. You are not actually proposing a Bjork album, you are proposing Bjork herself.

Did KISS have even one progressive song, let alone a progressive album???

Everyone (at least... Nearly everyone) says that Creatures of the Night (1982) was a progressive album.
I remember there was a discussion about the inclusion of this band in PA due to that album. |

There have been a few threads that have suggested Kiss' The Elder as a progressive rock album. |

Put the album I have suggested up for a listen and then judge. Bjork has always had some avant-garde aspects to what she does, with this album being a peak of sorts. KISS is a decidedly un-prog band who have dabbled in all sorts of music trying to make a buck. Big difference.

I haven't been here all that long, but hell yeah. I like Bjork and I like Kiss; the former could very well go into prog (I really wouldn't know where else to put her, I've seen her in Electronic, Alternative, etc. but those don't really work), the latter is most definitely un-prog.

Yes, of course: Bjork is closer to the progressive circles than Kiss. But why only quote Medulla? I feel that even Post, her second, has some prog-like vibes.
On the other hand, I fear she would be rejected just like Laurie Anderson had been rejected. Touchy subjects. |

I'm pretty certain that she has been discussed before. I don't know that she was ever rejected or just back burnered.

I would not mind seeing Bjork here at PA... lots of artistic and experimental electronic merits...

Bjork is definitely a progressive artist. Truth be told, this site hasn't kept up too well with electronic music as its scope grew beyond strictly prog rock. Bjork is definitely important to electronic music as well as being progressive.
