I'm not expecting "Trash" to be another "Killer" or "Schools Out", but since i'm a collector, and i found it for £1, i thought what the hell... And have to admit i'm a sucker for 80's metal like Cooper, Priest, DIO & even KISS And no, i didn't buy VS a while ago. I would have it by now then |

I know! Great band! You will definitely like them knowing that you are in a very Grunge-mood lately. |

Its good. More experimental/less rock then their other albums, and there seems to be more focus on guitar/string instruments as well. Also, after the first listen, it seems more wandering and less direct their either the debut or their second album (with it being a double album that might not be a surprise). Some really great songs though, where all three of them are firing on all cylinders...can really blow the speakers out.
After the first listen I'd put their CDs in this order:
1. Cabezas De Cera
2. ...Un Segundo
3. Metalmusica
4. Live album
HEM is quite under listened at this point, and honestly I can see metalmusica being tied with US for second...depending on my mood. Probably about a 3-3.5 right now.

I'm one of those music fanatics that should not go into a record store when I have extra cash or old crap to trade in. About a week or so ago I went to this place called cheap thrills. I can find a lot of stuff there for cheap. They sell used cds too, and they're in great condition. The coolest thing about this place is the first week an album comes out its ten bucks, no matter what band it is. I traded a few old dvds for the following:
Marillion- Script for a Jesters Tear
Tool- Aenima
Kansas-Leftoverture
Yes- The Yes Album
The Mars Volta- Octahedron
Dream Theater- Black Clouds and Silver Linings
About a month or two ago I made a prog order off of Amazon with some left over giftcards from Christmas. I got the following through reliable third parties that work with Amazon. I recommend checking out the third parties, they have alot of great albums for ten bucks or less.
Dream Theater: Images and Words, Awake, Metropolis 2: Scenes from a Memory
Yes: Fragile, Close to the Edge
Opeth: Black Water Park

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

^^ Ian, I'm afraid I am listening to a lot of classical at the moment, and have done for about 12 months..
..although I will always love prog, it's temporarily taken a back seat...
