David, I said I wasn't keen on Springsteen but like a few of his songs. I actually find him quite boring to watch.
Personally I think Neil Young was the real highlight of the weekend.

sorry if i offended you David ![Embarrassed Embarrassed](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif) there are plenty of other apple-pie-american artists i greatly admire, far too many to list here but Neil Young and CSN are included - they were brilliant! ![Thumbs Up Thumbs Up](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif)

Yes, I seem to remember you said this before. We will be visiting Wells at some point in August for a spot of crab fishing.

I wish he had, to be fair. Although Stills did a fine job of sounding like Young at times on the guitar.

I've had a hug from Rach twice in the past, so you definitely need some Rach love as well, Jared.
Don't worry, I'll definitely be buying you a drink.

Jared you're in Wells? BLIMEY!!!! Well is one of my special places! I lived until my move to WIltshier just about 10miles down the coast at Brancaster. The Norfolk people are a little strange it has to be said, but there are some gems amongst them too!
PM me where you are and next time I'm visiting the family (soon I should think) I'll try to get over there, we can sit on the harbour wall and eat chips and talk prog! :-)
Keep well,

well, it's my day off today Rach, and I'm off to Titchwell, with my binoculars and 'scope, so I'll blow a kiss to Brancaster on my way past, on your behalf... ![Wink Wink](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif) . anyway, as you might have guessed, I'm now running the Youth Hostel at Wells-Next-The-Sea, opposite St Nicholas' Church:
anyhow, I'd like to make a social comment on the idiosynchratic nature of the locals, but there aren't any round here. they've all been priced out of the market by Merc owning London types who've snapped up a third or fourth home with their loose change... . I believe these days, you've got to drive to Fakenham to find a 'local'... ![Confused Confused](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif) |
Hey steady you on mawther - me and Steve are pretty "Normal for Norfolk"![Wink Wink](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif)
Hi Jared you don't know me but nice to "meet you" anyway. I'm a local yokel like Steve and Wells is my very fave place in this fair county. Cockles, samphire, the wonderful beach - especially the other side of the Bar - and The Globe![Tongue Tongue](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif)
Re your comments on the housing situation - tell me about it. Burnham Market's the worst. I've lived here almost forever but was born in London - but I've only got a two-up two-down cottage in Coltishall, so i don't count!

^^ Burnham Market's something else, isn't it... when I went there, I could find Quail's eggs, but none donated by Hens.. ![Confused Confused](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif)
and Steve has just admitted to liking TMV... I doubt very much whether he's 'normal'... ![Wink Wink](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif)
