David, I said I wasn't keen on Springsteen but like a few of his songs. I actually find him quite boring to watch.
Personally I think Neil Young was the real highlight of the weekend.

Yes, I seem to remember you said this before. We will be visiting Wells at some point in August for a spot of crab fishing.

I wish he had, to be fair. Although Stills did a fine job of sounding like Young at times on the guitar.

Welcome back, Jared! It is definitely good to see you back here.
I still owe you a drink but alas, Norfolk is a little bit of a distance for me, I'm afraid. If you're even back in the Gloucestershire area though, do let me know.

thats a very kind offer, James...
although I might just take the additional precaution of printing off the page, and placing it in my solicitor's safe, in a sealed envelope...
I may also try and round up a few PA witnesses to sign a debenture...
in the mean time, I look forward to the possibility of standing Rachel a round (providing a get a hug) and also Alan (providing he promises not to expose the North Sea to his short, fat, hairy legs.... )

I've had a hug from Rach twice in the past, so you definitely need some Rach love as well, Jared.
Don't worry, I'll definitely be buying you a drink.

Er, have you been spying on me Jared? Otherwise how would you know? (not that it's true anyway). You'll have to stand me 2 rounds now to make up for that cruel and heartless comment.

I hope you have been saving J!
Have you seen the release calendar for this year so far?
Oh and by the way I've been converted, TMV's Octahedron is excellent!

Jared you're in Wells? BLIMEY!!!! Well is one of my special places! I lived until my move to WIltshier just about 10miles down the coast at Brancaster. The Norfolk people are a little strange it has to be said, but there are some gems amongst them too!
PM me where you are and next time I'm visiting the family (soon I should think) I'll try to get over there, we can sit on the harbour wall and eat chips and talk prog! :-)
Keep well,

well, it's my day off today Rach, and I'm off to Titchwell, with my binoculars and 'scope, so I'll blow a kiss to Brancaster on my way past, on your behalf... . anyway, as you might have guessed, I'm now running the Youth Hostel at Wells-Next-The-Sea, opposite St Nicholas' Church:
anyhow, I'd like to make a social comment on the idiosynchratic nature of the locals, but there aren't any round here. they've all been priced out of the market by Merc owning London types who've snapped up a third or fourth home with their loose change... . I believe these days, you've got to drive to Fakenham to find a 'local'... |
Hey steady you on mawther - me and Steve are pretty "Normal for Norfolk"
Hi Jared you don't know me but nice to "meet you" anyway. I'm a local yokel like Steve and Wells is my very fave place in this fair county. Cockles, samphire, the wonderful beach - especially the other side of the Bar - and The Globe
Re your comments on the housing situation - tell me about it. Burnham Market's the worst. I've lived here almost forever but was born in London - but I've only got a two-up two-down cottage in Coltishall, so i don't count!

^^ Burnham Market's something else, isn't it... when I went there, I could find Quail's eggs, but none donated by Hens..
and Steve has just admitted to liking TMV... I doubt very much whether he's 'normal'...

My Achilles heel on PA is My Chemical Romance - but Dean likes 'em too and he's not from Norfolk
