Pinch

No way. Dead

Arriving Somewhere But Not Hear is the only track I really like.

The opener isn't bad either.

The rest I could live without.

Who cares what you like?

I said it was a masterpiece, damn it.  A masterpiece

And when I say so, it is so.  Period.  End of discussion.

Worship me.

I'm with James. And I just listened to Deadwing yesterday. Poorest new-styled PT, compared to In Absentia and FOABP, by miles and continents.

And Arriving Somewhere But Too Late To Save A Drunk Rob is the only good piece from it.

Maybe Halo too, because I enjoy it in live concerts.

Zilly, I agree about most post-rock bands too.  Not all though.  Try the album Hex by Bark Psychosis.  That's much more prog.

Now Math Rock bands are much more progressive to my ears.

You know what? I kind of agree. LOL I came here as a huge proghead, but I barely listen to any prog anymore. And a lot of the bands I listen to listed on PA I don't consider prog myself.

I'm pretty good. I just registered for courses the other day. I'm going to the University of British Columbia this fall. I also bought a DS which is pretty fun. LOL

I've been listening to Hex quite a lot recently and I agree.

Yep and it's better than any other post-rock I've heard too.

A small EP called Guapo vs. Magma.

It's mad. Maaaaaaaad. But just 12 minutes of loony music.

I like Soderling.

It's just a shame he's going to get pwned.

And I need that Guapo EP.  Do you know if it's Daniel O'Sullivan on it?

I'm happy for you. Going to school is always a good call in my book.

I hate Soderling. Pistol-player (when his serves and forehand is accurate, it's not at the max in this game).

It's as early as the debut, so likely not.

Speaking of Guapo, yesterday I listened to Five Suns for the first time, while doing the houseworkWink... Very good album, though not easy to 'get' after only one listen. I'm looking forward to listening to it again anyway... Fascinating stuff.

I just didn't think they were as Zeuhl influenced before Daniel O'Sullivan joined.  I may have to check out those earlier albums now.

Five Suns is excellent.

But Black Oni is superior in every way.

The EP's not Zeuhl at all, just humour I guess. On the short track "Zeuhl II", they do take a vocal excerpt of MDK last piece and distort it. But that's all.

Pretty noisy Guapo, in this stage.

Hahahaha.

Five Suns and Black Oni are rather noisy too.

But Elixirs will probably remain closest to my heart.

I noted the same feeling about Maahan. It's my favourite, even if, arguably, Kaarmelekunta could be considered better.
