Yeah, that's true. It captured me somewhat, but was really off in other parts.

I think the music percentage part is more accurate than the "what it says about you" part. Or maybe I'm just weird. Tongue

Well, our yellow and red ones were exactly the same... but our blue ones were way off.

For me it was dead on with the last two sections, first one was off but I think it was just because I'm a low rater.

Here's my evaluation of my results:

1. Green
People high on this dimension tend to enjoy Classical, Blues, Jazz, and Folk music. On the Reflective & Complex Dimension you fell in the 78 percentile. This score is quite high.

This is true. I like Folk and Blues somewhat, but Classical is awesome and Jazz is absolutely amazing.

People with high scores on the reflective and complex music-preference dimension tend to be open to new experiences, creative, intellectual, and enjoy trying new things.

Not really. I usually don't like trying new things, except when it comes to music or literature, etc.

When it comes to activities, no way.

When it comes to politics, they tend to lean toward the liberal side. Wisdom, diversity, and fine arts are all important to them.

Haha, no way. The arts are important to me, but that's it.

When it comes to lifestyle, high scorers tend to be sophisticated, and relatively well off financially. After a hard day of work, if they're not listening to music or reading a book, they enjoy documentary films, independent, classic, or foreign films.

Psssh! Again, probably not.

2. Blue

People high on this dimension tend to enjoy Alternative, Rock, and Heavy Metal music. On the Edgy & Aggressive Dimension you fell in the 33 percentile. This score is quite low.

Hmmm... that's weird. I do like rock and metal, mostly prog, but it should be a bit higher at least.

People with low scores on the energetic and aggressive music-preference dimension don't get their kicks on skydiving or rock climbing.

Hell yes.

They tend to be friendly, less assertive than the average person, and conventional. They tend to place a lot of importance on family security, salvation, and tranquility.

Hmmm... second part is way more accurate.

When they're not listening to music, watching television, or reading a book, they probably enjoy watching a dramatic movie, major motion picture, romance movie, or classic film.

No, no, no, and no.

3. Yellow
People high on this dimension tend to enjoy Pop, Religious, Country, and Soundtrack music. On the Fun & Simple Dimension you fell in the 0 percentile. This score is very low

I hate all of those, except the occasional TD soundtrack. Tongue

People with low scores on the fun and simple music-preference dimension tend to introverted, unconventional, and artistic.

Affirmative.

When it comes to morals and values, chances are that they lean toward the liberal side, and consider beauty and inner harmony important principles in life. When selecting a movie to watch, they prefer suspense movies, cult movies, or foreign films.

Hmmm... not really. Beauty and inner harmony more so, movies again are wrong.

4. Red
People high on this dimension tend to enjoy Hip-hop, Rap, Funk, Soul, and Electronic music. On the Energetic & Upbeat Dimension you fell in the 4 percentile. This score is very low.

I really enjoy Funk influences and I love Electronic, so I don't know what happened here. I don't like hip hop, rap, or soul at all though.

People with low scores on the energetic and upbeat music-preference dimension tend to be introverted, less assertive than the average person, and detail oriented.

Yes.

As for politics and values, they tend to lean to the conservative side, and value intellect, ambition, and high art.

Yes.

When it comes to lifestyle, low scorers on the energetic and upbeat dimension often come from the middle and upper classes.

Middle, perhaps. Upper, no way.

When they're not reading, they're probably watching a romance movie, classic film, or western movie.

Movie fail again.

My first three sections captured me almost to a T, while the last was way off. Three out of four is not bad thoughSmile.

Mine were a bit... odd.

I liked the simpler musical part of it though.

Well, it says I'm pretty liberal, which isn't right. But otherwise it was mostly accurate.

Also, KILL THE REVOLUTIONARIES!

As much as I love ELP, Pictures... is my least favourite of their 'great' albums. On the other hand, I am familiar with both the original Mussorgsky version, and the Ravel orchestral arrangement, and love both.

Oh, I haven't heard the orchestral (yet, I need to), but I listened to the original Mussorgsky and ELP's.

ELP's Pictures was actually my favorite album by them for a while; it was a really important album for me when I was first discovering prog. I'm honestly surprised I hadn't heard the Mussorgsky in full until yesterday.

I seem to be the main person here who scored lower on the blue segment.

Correct. You people are no fun. You also probably didn't give reggae a 6.
