Thanks.  I wrote up the bio last night...it's hard to do that without sounding pretentious anyway (especially using third person).  Embarrassed

A bio? Shocked
.

Well...an auto-bio.  LOL

Octavarium was mixed. I can't remember much of it. Panic Attack and Never Enough (despite the awkward chorus) appeared the best songs. The title track was mixed, and I don't particularly like the effect of gluing a million influences together with prittstick, though there were strong moments. I can't remember much of the rest; I Walk Beside You was embarrassing, and I think Sacrificed Sons was good, but can't remember how it went.

That's one thing about DT albums for me is because of their length they take two or three listens before I really start recognizing the songs.

True that. Also, I get bored halfway through the albums and start reading instead of paying attention.

That's a good philosophy. LOL
I like Tchaikov"sky, but I only know his greatest hits.

I also like what I have heard from Prokofiev but that is only a couple of songs.

BC and SL will end up being 5 stars for me, so I much prefer it to Octahedron.

Haha, I can understand that.

I personally love most of DT to death though. Debut, FII, and ACOS are the only things that suck, IMO.

It's my 3rd favorite DT album, after SFAM and 6D.

I much prefer the Rudess-era to the Moore-era. Wink

you and your modern sh*t, you just like everything that's new, eh? Get over the hype and we'll see if you feel the same the next time a DT album comes out, you'll be going "it's the 2nd best DT ever! BC&SL is 6th now"

That doesn't work because 6D and SFAM are my top 2.

If SC and Octavarium were my top 2, then maybe.

Nice try. Wink

Ooh.  Do you hire out?  My dishes need to get done too.  All this hot weather is causing an unsavory stench from the bachelor stack in the sink.

Tick Tock being one of the best progressive rock albums ever = funniest idea of this year.

That being said, the album's very nice.
