Indeed.

I remember when I was travelling to London once with a mate and he got a text saying Whitney Houston had died.

Of course, it was a hoax but we could not confirm it was at the time.  This was pre-Internet 'phone.

I think I should listen to them first before giving an opinion. Wink

The first song certainly was kooky though.

My ears are going to eventually explode from electronic music today, you'd think. Though I did take a break with TMV.

Alex, for some weird reason I didn't think you liked PT that much*.  Yet they are #7 on your list.

* I mean, I figured you didn't hate them, but not liked them as much as your charts indicate.

My charts are accurate in a sense (the long-term) because they span all the way back from 2005, but inaccurate in the short-term because some of those artists I don't listen to as much anymore or what not.

I do really like Porcupine Tree. If I had to order my artists, not sure where I'd put them. But with all my new jazz, electronic, and classical discoveries... I can't wait until my top charts end up being more balanced. It'll take a while.

I guess I like PT more than you thought I did, since I think everything from Signify onwards is absolute gold. I like the stuff before that too as well. I wouldn't name them 7th... but I do like them. I just tend to go in spells with listening to different things.

In other words, Epignosis would be at the top, except I only have five tracks.

I do really like his album though. It's 5 stars, IMO.
