Optical Illusions ftw.

I went and looked her name up. And she was definitely before your time too. And here I was hoping to crack a few more age jokes. Tongue

My dad used to have the famous Farah Fawcett poster up in his workshop in the basement back when I was a kid.  I can remember enjoying watching Charlie's Angels when I was really young.  Probably, the Baywatch effect of beautiful women making even a horrible show worth watching. LOL

I'm listening to Merzbow, but I'm not sure why.

I usually feel the same way when I make the attempt. If I wanted to listen to static, I can turn on the radio and put it on a station that doesn't exist for free.

I acquired 1930 just today, and this is my first listen of him ever.

I honestly have NO idea what to think yet. Other than that it's pretty interesting.

I don't think I can even call 1930 music. If it had the crazy rhythmic patterns of Venetian Snares I could listen to it, but it's just ambient noise, although since it's the ambient noise of a fire station during an alarm it's not very ambient. ;-)

I don't know if it's music either. It's noise art, but music? No idea yet.

I need to hear Venetian Snares.

Pfft. More music than 4'33". 1930 was pretty interesting.

Merzbow is one of those artists that I know that I would not like without having actually heard him.
