Erm, grass is Murray's favourite surface too.

It'll be close.

I think Fedex will win but i want Murray to win.  Fedex has that annoying mechanical and robotic game and I just think it maybe too much for Murray's much more interesting and exciting game.

Wow, I just saw Llodra... why was he disciplined for it?

Or did I miss something?

I didn't catch it, I only noticed Haas won after 4-3 in the first set. I thought Llodra retired.

Lemme check.

You missed what happened.

He was going for a point, carried on running, ran into the Umpire's chair and fell on a ballgirl.

With Haas leading 3-2, Llodra retrieved a ball on the outermost edge of the court when a drop shot from the German sent him sprinting towards the net. But his sheer impetus meant he could not stop and he crashed into the umpire’s chair and fell on top of a ball girl crouched by the net. Two games later, after treatment from a trainer, Llodra called it a day.

---

Nasty.

Ouch.

I read that Haas stayed and played a few more balls with a ballgirl (a different one than the one Llodra crashed into), after the match was over, to entertain the crowd.

And that the girl knew some tennis.

The girl he fell on was called Erin, apparently.

Erm, the ballgirl Haas played against looked like a ballboy...

No, see here:

"Much to the crowd’s delight, after Llodra left the court Haas played several rallies with a ballboy and then a ballgirl – the ballgirl being sufficiently good that someone felt it necessary to call from the crowd: “Come on, Tommy!”

It may have been a ballgirl but it looked like a ballboy...

They showed a clip on BBC news of Haas playing against the ballperson.

Ah, I was right.

He played against a ballboy first. Wink

But I was right saying the ballgirl knew some tennis to show Haas. Wink

Del Potro - Hewitt seems tomorrow's most interesting match, everyone else theoretically has weaker opponents. Murray plays Gulbis, could be tricky again, but the latter had a miserable year, he can't possible wake up and do some wonders now.

Except he took the same pills Koubek used today. Only one extra, for an eventual fifth set.

I missed the outcome to that Koubek match, who won?  I'm presuming Spanish guy did.

Like NEVER!

What's up besides tennis? Anything exciting new things to tell me about?
