Last night for low cost on amazon mp3:

Izz - I Move
Discipline - Folded Like a Staircase
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I'm glad they call this thread "recent purchases" 'cos I downloaded it this morning and haven't had a chance to play it yet!!! All I can tell you is that it was recorded on 19.12.70 and tracks are:

Paranoid
Hand of Doom
Iron Man
Black Sabbath
NIB
Behind the Wall of Sleep
War Pigs
Fairies Wear Boots.

It was sourced from a site that claims to be 100 per cent legit but I didn't know it existed either. I've just had a quick burst of Paranoid and the quality's pretty much okay.

That looks like its from the famous Paris 1970 show. Nothing new for me, then Tongue
I'm really exited about hearing the UNCUT version of "The Warning", though! Big smileBig smileBig smile

Thanks for telling me more about my album than I know myselfLOL

I think I've seen some YouTube stuff from that Paris gig.

btw I can't get too excited about the half-hour Warning 'cos I saw them at East Ham Odeon in 1972 and Iommi did about 10 mins of the Warning solo live and to say he repeated the same phrases constantly throughout that 10 mins would be... erm, true. Next time I saw them Warning was dropped from the set and they'd tightened up one heck of a lot. Interestingly it's called plain Warning in the UK and The Warning in the USA - one of the few covers they ever did.

But i like Iommis solos Tongue
And 30-minutes of soloing, in the studio? That's something new! No wonder the producer cut most of it.
And Sabbath's cover rocks the socks off the original version, even though that one's pretty good aswell.

Havn't bought the deluxe Paranoid yet. But i don't think it sounds that interesting. Just the album remastered, alternate versions, and quad-mix of the album.
Hope that the deluxe Black Sabbath will include "The Rebel" and/or "A Song for Jim" Embarrassed

Black Clouds & Silver Linings 3-disc edition – just arrived Clap It looks awesome!

I think I may be one of the first people on Earth who can hold it in their hands. Our favourite CD store is absolutely great!
