Now let's be fair people.
Not every republican is an old, white southern, southern male.
That's just who the party caters to! (As long as your wealthy)

No... also young, white northern, extremely northern, almost-russia female....
And wealthy of course... and pregnant.... (oh poor Letterman had to apologize for a joke... the days of good fun are over... PC are the rule...)

the only requirements to be republican are actually whiteness and ... (not EVERY republican is wealthy... so... )

Whiteness and GUNS!!!

Well there is Bobby Jindal.

But seriously T, you miss my point. Its who they serve....
Yes, every republican is not rich, but that's who they cater to.
Even if that's not what a specific Republican wants to do/believes in that is what the party does.

Oh and guns. That goes without saying.

Here's an interesting piece on the White House for you so you could think of something other than whiteness...

The White House Fires a Watchdog

Here's the synopsis

Obama fired Ispector General Gerald Walpin because he was investigating Obama's friend.

The best part is that Ispector General can be fired only by giving a 30-day notice and the reason for dismissal to Congress. Nice isn't it.

Guess what major network reported it. Out of 3

1. NBsh*t
2. sh*tNN
3. you guessed it right

You're only allowed to call certain groups of people corrupt otherwise, you are being a partisan malcontent. Apparently, I mean, that's just what I can glean for the way the media behaves. Republicans are corrupt, rich b*****ds and democrats are all socialist commies who want to ruin the nation. It's much more exciting when you reduce complex situations to a cast of cookie cutter characters.

Additionally, don't forget that anytime you criticize Obama, Bush makes money. His oil fields an Iraq are engineered to feed off the public doubt of his rivals.

Well duh! You know the average American is too dumb/has too short an attention span to actually know anything about anything. Why look into complex/boring/difficult issues like taxes for example, when you simply say: Democrats. Socialist. Will take your money. Or Republicans. Elitist. Support only wealthy.

Deja vu:  "sought logs of visits by executives of coal companies.   "

Obama blocks list of visitors to White House

Taking Bush's position, administration denies msnbc.com request for logs

We know they all do that. It's just funny to see them switch positions when they come to power.

You might be surprised to learn they're those on the left who aren't too happy with that.

Noit surprised at all. The expectations of the left were too high. Both parties are in bed with big corporations, and they mean business.

This Afghan deployment really knocked me out. Couldnt believe my eyes. If anything I really expected him to end both wars. But I forgot -- he said we will be out of Iraq, not Afgahanistan.

Yea, he's been saying he was going to stay in Afghanistan, (and wanted to INCREASE troops there) way back during the campaign. Not particularly a fan of that....

And it sounds like more than a few people on the left are starting to get ticked off. Bound to happen, I mean a lot of people set the bar to high, or dream up irrational ideas.
I remember shortly after he was elected my roomies and I went to a Wendy's. One cashier was wearing an Obama shirt and I said, hey about that Obama?
She goes NUTS, yelling HE'S GUNNA FIX EVERYTHING! THERE'S NOT GOING TO BE ANYMORE RICH OR POOR, NO MORE RICH OR POOR JUST A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD!   I had to stop myself from losing it on her.

Also, alot of gay rights acitivists are starting to get peeved as well.
At least all the conservatives who said, "the media is in love with him/everyone sucks his ****/he'll have abolsute power because everyone bows to him" are starting to see how stupid that was.

That last pane is one of the biggest doublethinks I have ever heard in my life. He spends an entire speech criticizing ad-hoc legal methods that were used to subvert the law, then he's like "I'm gonna come up with this new thing called indefinite detention." There's change I can believe in.

So, in Obama's speech today he said, "The Free Market is, and always will be, the engine of job growth" and also said that "corporations, not the government" is what creates jobs.

Not exactly the rhetoric of a socialist if you ask me....
Of course I'm sure people who don't like him will just say "LOL like I believe that"
Time will tell
