Same for me.
Vanilla fudge were way ahead of their time on their first two releases, really stunning material. Iron butterfly really pale compared to them.

Like both bands, but IMO Vanilla Fudge has accomplished more overall. In A Gadda Da Vida is huge, but the rest of Iron Butterfly catalogue is not so good as Vanilla Fudge catalogue.
