Are you recording all of the instruments on your project, or is anyone else helping?

All guitars and bass will be done by me. Fortunately I've had plenty of experience playing bass guitar in the past so I wont need assistance in that area. I'll be programming drums too, but I'll ask opinions from drummers as to whether my drum programming will be decent or not. Art work for an album cover type thing (I'm not actually releasing it on CD, it's on MP3 but I wanted to have art work to go with it at least), if I can get it, will be handled by a friend since I'm not artistically inclined in visual art at all, I have trouble drawing stick figures, well not that bad, but you get what I mean.

I think for people that don't like post rock because of GSYBE need to listen to Long Distance Calling. It borders on metal at times and it's much more direct and to the point and it's actually rocking lol. I guess it's less "post" than GSYBE and more rock, but it's not a bad thing at all, I think LDC are amazing.

I need to check out Long Distance Calling. Mike/By-Tor recommended them to me for the same reasons.

The Red Wings lost to the Penguins on Friday and are no longer the possessors of the Stanley Cup. Hence, the new avatar.

Rate it 5 stars. You know you want to. That's my favorite echolyn album if I was pressed to pick one. As the World is a close second. All their stuff is fantastic.

| I'm tempted to. The problem is, there's a couple of songs I don't really like on there, and I don't feel the album is quite as strong as Mei or Cowboy Poems Free. However, "Georgia Pine," "Lovesick Morning" and "The End is Beautiful" are stunning.
And then there's "The Arc of Descent." I love the music...but those lyrics...wow...

Rush is alright, really. Sometimes I agree with him; sometimes he's just a freaking idiot. Most of the people that are chosen to represent the Republican "party" can be no better than the Democrats to me alot of the time, so I never label myself really. I'm not religious at all, so when the "right" is associated with Bible thumpers, it really gets on my nerves because a few outspoken religious people are misrepresenting me.
