I really enjoyed it, will have to listen to it some more, but so far my favorite song is The Mariner's Revenge Song.

Sweet! I have the strange urge to follow up this album with some Dream Theater. @___@ I don't even like Dream Theater.

Everyone here seems to hate Godspeed! lol. Btw, when I said my project was post rock/metal, I didn't mean post rock like Godspeed where the build up takes half an hour, but more direct to the point post rock . Heavier post rock perhaps that kinda gets there quicker I suppose. But it's still mainly focused on metal.

I enjoy Godspeed, but I have to be in a certain mood to listen to them.

I think for people that don't like post rock because of GSYBE need to listen to Long Distance Calling. It borders on metal at times and it's much more direct and to the point and it's actually rocking lol. I guess it's less "post" than GSYBE and more rock, but it's not a bad thing at all, I think LDC are amazing.

I hate Godspeed; they're one of the reasons I didn't listen to post-rock/post-metal for a long time.
Fortunately, I really like every other single post band I've heard now.

I'm hoping you guys will dig my project then. It's a blend of post metal, heavy post rock, experimental metal, and post hardcore, although since me being me it focuses a little more on the metal side of things but I'm hoping it will appeal to guys like Rico as well who are into post rock but not so much post metal.

I'm still not used to having more posts than you, Harry. It's odd.

I know. It's just a bit weird to look at our consecutive posts and see my number being larger than yours, after over a year of us talking in here.

Indeed, by the time my music project is done my post count per day will most likely have fallen below 35 per day I guess, the days of me being able to post 12 hours a day is gone.

Morning My throat started hurting like hell during Fight Fire with Fire yesterday and I was hoping it to be better by morning, but no such luck.

Are you recording all of the instruments on your project, or is anyone else helping?
