The article I read seemed to side step mentioning how she specifically broke any rules. Anybody got a better link maybe? As a side comment, I don't really think she's that attractive, she has way too much of a painted barbie look about her.

So, Ahmadinejad has been re-elected.
From what I gather Iran, as well as most of the world, dosn't seem too pleased with the results ![]() |

Yes, he got "reelected" fair and square with "60%" of the "vote". Nothing dodgy there so it seems.

It's not so much the fact that Ahmadinejad got re-elected as it is the Iranian people had no say in the matter.

![]() But to be fair were the guns used in Tiller's Murder/The Museum shooting illegally obtained? If not, then....not much we can do. Unless we start screening gun buyers for extreme ideas (I kid, I kid) Only extreme right wing ![]() |

Yeah, like that vote count means anything. Even if somehow his people failed at wining him the required number of votes, it's not like he'd give up the seat anyway.

Well, guns don't kill people, but people with guns do kill people much more efficiently. I think we should have a right to own guns for hunting, self defense, or whatever legal activities. I just don't believe that was what our second amendment was ever about as those words were never used in it. And if we're going to be strict constructionists, your right to bear the weapon of the day, the musket, should not be infringed upon. that doesn't mean you're entitled to own any kind of weapon that has been devised since those days I also don't mind if you chose to wear shirts that bare your arms. The best idea for gun control: go back in time and kill the person who invented the first. But you can't un-ring a bell, I don't think it's a good idea for the gov't to be the only with the firearms. Makes it too easy for Bush*tlers and Obamessiahs to take over.

Hannity InsanityFew people are better at creating a Krauthammer-lauded “alternate reality” than Fox’s Sean Hannity. Columnist Dick Polman provides an excellent example:

This continues to get more interesting:
Huge pro-reform rally in Iran defies crackdown threats: Mousavi paused on the edge of Tehran's Azadi, or Freedom, Square — where Ahmadinejad made his first post-election speech — to address the crowd, which was more than five miles (nine kilometers) long. They roared back: "Long live Mousavi."Katherine Harris Reportedly Said that the Iranian Election was Fair. Is this Site a Satire? 6/15 Edited by Slartibartfast - June 15 2009 at 14:56 |

Simple really. If the Supreme Council wants Ahmadinejad back in, then the elections were "fair". If they're displeased with him, then the investigations will ramp up. Either way, the Iranian citizenry has really no say in the matter. |
