Neither have I. However, I hope to find it at NearFest, since Greg Walker will be there, and probably other CD vendors.

I think it's good, but not mindblowing. I'd give it a solid 3.

Oh, it is a blistering epic. At times it felt like a cross between PFM, Yes, and Jethro Tull. Well, if those bands overdosed on caffeine. I was amazed at it, and after I listen to it a few more times, I'll be writing what I hope to be a thorough review.

Composing for most of the past 8 hours. Got a good amount done. Going to spend some time with the family here momentarily. Smile

For awhile I think that your location said Beatles'  Heart instead of Beasty Heart.

I like it quite a bit, especially Jordrok, but it almost comes across as lifeless and boring to me at other times. Almost as if it were prog by the numbers.

I can see where you'd think that, as the album wears many of its influences directly. But never got a lifeless feel from it. Perhaps in the switching between hard and soft, but I've only listened to it twice, so perhaps I am missing something.

I don't know; I've heard it a good 10 times over the span of 3 or 4 years and for some reason it just never hit me enough to get a whole lot of listens. It's weird, really, but it doesn't captivate me I guess.

I do really think Jordrok is heavily superior to the rest of the album though. That's a great song.

I must say, Frequency is blowing my socks off, and I'm only at its third track.

Because in his opinion they are talentless.

You're kidding? I must obtain that album, then. Hybris thoroughly kicked my ass in the best way.
