Fail.

Jethro Tull > Decemberists

My sister is not into The Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus, but she is still a pop-rock teen.  She's smart too.  Plus what she bought is a kick ass album anyway.  If she likes that, there's hope yet.

I suppose that's understandable.

My brother isn't really ready for music yet; he just doesn't care about it. He only listens to it extremely sparingly, and usually the same extremely simplistic song over and over again all day. Dead

My family is funny.

My brother is into oldies and country (as am I).  He likes George Jones and Johnny Cash and The Temptations.

My other brother is into hard rock and rap (as am I).  He's into Outkast and Porcupine Tree and The Outfield (yeah, they aren't hard rock or rap but f**k it).

My sister is into pop rock and showtunes (as am I...kind of).  She is becoming a kick ass pianist.  So I'm trying to show her what great music sounds like.  I think she'll get it.

That's interesting, haha.

My brother is like the polar opposite of me in many aspects, so I doubt we'll ever like the same music. He's open-minded, but I can't see him ever caring to learn a whole lot about music. He just likes things when they're "catchy", and doesn't really care for music much as a hobby. He'd much rather watch a movie or something else.

The only things he's been listening to lately are 3 songs by the Beatles and video game music on repeat.

So, I finished my journey through Rush land, and have come to the conclusion that Their peak was Permanent Waves, with hemispheres and Moving Pictures next in line, for different reasons, each.

Also, I'll probably never listen to them, again. What band should I go on a review spree with, next?

I think I posted once in the Atheist.
I'm an atheist but the Atheist and not atheist and all in between arguments got old before I was even born, so I don't bother.

I wanted to post about how I feel at one point, but the debates started, and it simply doesn't matter anymore.

I could do that. But from the way it sounds, a RIO quiz wouldn't even please him at this point. LOL

Except for the tech/extreme, I'm also wondering why Alex has so many rounds where I'm left clueless. Cry

LOL
