Actor/Actress/Director Completionist

As prog fans, there are many of us who are completionists when it comes to some or all of our favorite prog artists.  I am curious as to how this translates to the movie industry.  Are there any actors or actresses for which you have seen every movie that they have appeared in, or intend on seeing every movie that they have appeared in?  Does this translate better if the question applies to directors, instead of actors or actresses?  I know from other threads that there are certain directors that have pretty good followings here.  What actors/actresses/directors are you a completionist about?

There are several directors whose movies I enjoy so much that I have seen or intend to see all of them. The first ones that come to mind: Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Godard, Truffaut, (Aki) Kaurismäki, Kubrick, Polanski, Scorsese, Lynch, Cronenberg, Trier, Herzog.

As for actors and actresses, I can only think of a few: Jean-Pierre Léaud, James Dean, Klaus Kinski, Ben Gazzara, Audrey Hepburn, Julie Delpy, Naomi Watts, and, as some of you may have guessed, Winona Ryder.

She's eerily beautiful with wrinkles. At the same time, several of my family members didn't even recognize her.

Me either - Tideland was pretty bizarre in a good way, though!


Kubrick and Burton for me, although Michel Gondrey is another one who I'm starting to have more and more by.


Actors... no, never

There are many directors I like very much, but it is not so easy to see all of their movies; especially earlier ones are sometimes hard to get.
As to actors /actresses. I have seen most movies with Catherine Deneuve and Hanna Schygulla, two of my favourite actresses. And I have seen all of the big Chaplin movies, of which "The Kid" was the first.
There are many actresses I really like: Charlotte Rampling, Geraldine Chaplin (both have a somewhat cruel touch around the mouth, something which curiously attracts me), Sigourney Weaver, Jeanne Moreau (she has that cruel touch too; come to think of it, Weaver also has it, though it is more hidden with her. ).

Peter Weir.

I'm not familiar with his entire filmography, but I will be.

^ and the good news is that The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is back in production (at least for the moment).
