Not at all.

They just need to see a certain gentleman without pants on and she'll be converted. Wink

Don't flatter Patrick Swayze. He is out of the business.

Good morning.

It's been 7 hours of grueling folk learning already here. I'm basically reading the material again, since exam is two days away, but I'll have another exam tomorrow.

Oh, 12th June, you're still too far.

Been there, done that. Good luck with it. You should be fine.

You studied Folklore before? Shocked

Well, I meant with the hours of studying and all of that situation.

I've never really taken a class on Folklore. Sounds like it would be interesting though.

I can give you private lessons if you likeLOL!

How can you not be interested in Romanian Folklore?  I'd find that course fascinating, I think. Big smile

I'll (poorly) translate the two courses I learned this year for you then, in my vacation. LOL

High in the sky, what do you see? Come down from Earth, a cup of tea.

Definitely the catchy tune that got stuck in my heard since... Brothersport.

And I don't even like tea!

Reading in the Gong thread: they couldn't stand bad spelling? Shocked

(Guess concepts about lolcats are out of the question...)

Was Peter Rideout ever a guest musician in Gong then? Tongue

1) I have bruises on my lower spine. Why???!
2) I really wish I'd done something other than Plato as my Greek set text... so *painful* to revise.
3) huzzah for the sun

I've been helping my mate move house today.  Luckily his new gaff is round the corner from his current abode, so the 4 trips we made in the car weren't too daunting. Big smile

In regards to yesterday's conversation, Monty Python is the only British comedy that I am familiar with, thus my reference to it.  I have to be honest when I say that I don't really get British humour.  Maybe if they spoke American English I would get it better.  Of course, I suppose I don't get American humor either, since I didn't care for Seinfeld and I think that Saturday Night Live is only funny about 5% of the time.  The rest of the time it is just plain stupid.

I am not a fan of Devin Townsend. I liked Terria and found Ziltoid and Synchestra entertaining, but that's about it. However, I'm currently listening to Ki and this is f**king amazing! It's a lot mellower and more melodic than his previous albums and I just can't believe how much I'm enjoying this.

Very interesting.  That is the 2nd or 3rd positive comment I have seen here recently regarding Ki.

I like Ki quite a bit, but Terria takes the crown as my favorite DT release.

I don't even know why I decided to give it a spin, but I'm glad I did. I've only listened to it once, but I haven't been so excited about new music in over a year. It's a beautiful record and I recommend it to anyone who appreciates good music. Even if you don't like Devin Towsend or metal you might like this.

Good luck with not getting a Mob trial or OJ trial that leaves you sequestered for 6 months.  Unless of course you'd like something like that.
