E3 starts tomorrow and it sucks major ass that they don't have public entry dates like other industry conventions. Thumbs Down

Is that the one with the 50 page speech, or is that Fountainhead?

I'll probably slog though Ayn Rand eventually, but the length of her books means it's not very high on the list.

OK, FreakAngels is taking a very long time to go anywhere, which makes sense, but I still can't put up with it much longer.

Yes it is. Not sure if I'm looking forward to that point but it's good so far.

I think if you skip the speech it still counts as reading the book since you read the other 1000 pages.

They tried it in Santa Monica. It failed.
Tried to be smaller in the LA convention center. It was a sad, lonely affair.
The industry needs to have a convention with mainstream press coverage saying, "We matter. Look at us."

Oh my god, that was in 2006.

I extremely frightened and disturbed that I thought that was last year. Everything is slipping away.

This has become personal. Evil Smile

I will get beat on the RIO/Avant prog round.  There's someone called Syzgy after all.

True. Chris will probably own that round.

Given that I scored 1200 points (guessing pretty slowly 11 questions) on a metal quiz that went on and on about Protest The Hero, Spiral Architect, Gojira (twice the right answer, twice guessed! LOL), Meshuggah, some Opeth member's daughter & Joe Satriani, I think James will be in for a surprise if a DT quiz occurs.

I've initially said I'm gonna let it slide, and score as low as I'm clueless; but I'm quite content with my guessing skills, after this quiz. Big smile

If only I'd have had those skills active when the neo quiz took place. Cry

Lol anyway, both me and Rob are surrounded by other strong players, and James finds that he has something personal solely with us. LOL

Gah, I got 10/20 and one I guessed incorrectly.  I was going to click on Melville but didn't.

I went for Locke because of the obvious Lost fanboyism by Alex.  I should have gone for my initial idea.  Ah well.
