Baldur's Gate frightens me. I intend to play it for just an hour or so and then when I check the time it's been five.

I'm sure I have spent too much time on BG II... I know the layout of the opening dungeon down to the traps on boxes... it worries me muchly. BG I... not so much, but still more than enough.
You know there are mods to skip that part, right? ;-)

I doubt I'll be replaying BG1, there's too much walking and straight combat for it to be fun more than once, but the time sucking is still worrying.
if you own a sodastream i hate you

Don't get me wrong, I love wine and good beer (I don't like spirits - only use them in cooking), but can't take too much of them. To be perfectly honest, if I have to drink alcohol, it should taste good (I have a weakness for sweet wine), and not just be 'alcoholic'. Getting drunk has never been my idea of entertainment, I'm afraid.

My late mom was a big fan of Ford cars... Her first was a bright red Fiesta, which she later replaced with a blue Kia (which is now owned by my sister-in-law). My brother, on the other hand, is a big fan of German cars, especially Volkswagen. I don't drive, so anything is OK with meWink.

I'm a Ford brat.  My dad worked for Ford for 30 years, so we always had Ford vehicles growing up, and every car that I have owned has been a Ford.

I grew up with Fiat cars, but after my dad's death in 1993, my mom grew dissatisfied with them, and turned to Ford. Micky would like to teach me to drive (though I did take lessons when I was 18, so I'm not a complete novice), but, to be perfectly honest, I'm not particularly interested. Public transport is excellent around here, and I like to walk whenever I can.

Public transport is mostly not an option around here.  I could probably get away with riding a bike to work since I am only about 7 or 8 miles away, but the suit would probably get kind of grungy riding a bike 7 or 8 miles.

I don't like wine, and not usually beer, only liquor. Life is grand.

Normally, that 1 star would normally bother me, but given the source of it, it doesn't bother me nor surprise me.

It's only the second one star I've given, and I might try to review Awake tomorrow (which I'm pretty sure will get four from me), and dammit, my 's turned to ?s in the transfer. With hindsight, the review was possibly a bit too sharp.

Yes, but it's ridiculously nostalgic for me, so I don't skip it. Ouch
