I'm still having problems getting the first and last tracks in the library. Is there any chance this problem can be fixed? I've heard nothing but positives from everyone who has listened to it, so I really want to listen to the whole thing.

I admit I listened to it 'properly' for the first time the other day (i.e. not while reading or on the internet) and I enjo it a lot more than I did, i mean i liked it but not as much as I thought I would. It took a few listens to fully sink in and now I can't stop listening to it. I think if they had shoehorned in more 'metal' bits I don't think the album would have flowed as well as it does

Oh god, MotW revived my interest in metal, again, again and again. Though you can't say this is a fully metallic album, it's a completely awesome release, full of unexpected passages, delicate experimentation and clear composition. IMO, this album is a landmark in the metal fields, the perfect fusion between RIO, Post Rock/Metal and Avant prog.
This is not my beautiful house...

I hate metal so I'm glad the album came out like it did! Thumbs Up

90% of the classical motW elements were there, and that's what I was worried about the most.

As I said in my review, I can only see two albums coming out this year that can beat it, and one of them is Kayo Dot!

Finally got all the tracks in my library. Sweet album, I can definetely see why people love it so much.

At this rate, Part The Second is going to be above SEBTP, CTTE, and TAAB on the top 100 chart.

All I can say is thank you, Greg and the whole band.

Now can you make those other albums at least available for purchase???

Unbelievable album. Best of the year so far and it's been a good year.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I agree with you, wholeheartedly. You know, your current listening list kicks more asses than I can easily describe.

Damn son!  I love that first album.... I have been listening to them since that first one came out..... and I LOVE the new one!  Change is a good thing....  It's still the same backbone, but with different skin.

Well its certain that the rating will drop a bit (most likely a substantial amount), but then again... it is an amazing album, and it seems the vast majority who have listened to it think it is a masterpiece!

I never heard about maudlin of the Well until i noticed the "FREE ALBUM" thread... I regret not getting into their previous stuff earlier. Unfortunately, I can't find any other albums from them (out of print?)

I was lucky to catch the reissues a few years back.  I think for the time being they are all out of print!  Cry

one day though they may reprint the discs....
