Only a fellow Brit could make a post like that.
But I still prefer beer

For me it goes : Coca-Cola > RC Cola > Red Bull Cola > Jolt Cola > Pepsi
I like Red Bull's new cola, it reminds me of Jolt, which is really hard to find around here. |

Would be sh**ting you if I voted opposite to Coke as I'm a proud citizen of the biggest Coca-Cola sucking country in our fair world...
Point being, I voted Coke

^^^^^I'll be damned.
Perhaps you'd like to explain how you are a citizen of somewhere else and and that is the biggest Coke swilling country? Edited by Slartibartfast - May 20 2009 at 18:47 |

I really don't care. They're the same. People have deluded themselves into thinking otherwise.

I get the equivalent of the above from WalMart/ASDA for about the same price, but 8p for a can of coke is a bit special. I seemed to cost a lot more than that when my kids were young!

^ I recently stayed in a hotel where water was Ģ5 a bottle - it comes to something when beer is cheaper than water.
Anyway, I can tell the difference betwix Coke & Pepsi, but couldn't tell you which was which and have no preference - they are both pretty rank if you stop and actually taste what you are glugging - I only drink them when I'm "designated driver" and most pubs and clubs sell that reconstituted syrup muck "on tap" that tastes like soap anyway. As for Diet Coke

Thumbs up for Cockta!! The drink of my youth! It's the best cola for making a bambus (bamboo). Bamboo is no.1 drink when going to party somewhere on the Croatian coast! Some people may be drinking beer, some will drink wine, some will drink some soft drinks..but 'bamboo' is a mixture of red (sometimes white) wine with cola in a any ratio from 1:4 to 3:4, up to personal taste. Some people are drinking 'white bambus' which is white wine with Fanta, but I don't like it that much. |

Man never try Sangria D*n S*m*n unless you have a deathwish - and I speak from a very recent personal experience. Drinking it is When you stop: and get some air
I'm not knocking the product - just beware

They are both bad news along with most soft drinks. If you do drink them make sure you don't take vitamin C. Both Coke and Pepsi contain sodium benzoate. When you mix ascorbic acid (vitamin C) with sodium benzoate you get benzine. Benzine is a petroleum product.
Defination for benzine from 'Answers.com' "A colorless, flammable, liquid aromatic hydrocarbon, C6H6, derived from petroleum and used in or to manufacture a wide variety of chemical products, including DDT, detergents, insecticides, and motor fuels. Also called benzine, benzol." |

The chemical reaction would produce benzene, not benzine, and is a result of the action of heat and light. Wiki:
"Benzine should not be confused with benzene. Benzine is a mixture of alkanes, e.g., pentane, hexane, and heptane, whereas benzene is a cyclic, aromatic hydrocarbon, C6H6."
Also from Answers.com:
"Benzine is not the same as Benzene.
Benzine is a petroleum distilate, a mixture of organic chemicals derived by distilling petroleum, with boiling points within a defined range. Benzene in a single aromatic hydrocarbon (C6H6)"
