Luke, did you listen to Part the Second?

Yes, not what I was expecting. My first thought was that it's motW's Blue Lambency Downward. Much mellower than I expected. I can't say it's my favorite, course I've only listened to it once.

Good morning, Luke. How's it going?

Haven't been up long enough to know. LOL

How are you doing Alex?

I'm doing wonderfully. Had a massive headache earlier, but it seems to have completely gone away now.

I felt the same way.

I was expecting more metal, more BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and more avant-garde moments.

I enjoyed it but it wasn't classic motW.

Okay, I'm hungry, so I'm going to get something to eat. I'll be back.

Once I return, I'll most likely have the quiz up shortly after. I'm a little over halfway done.

I heard a track from it and I quite liked it.

I assume you're talking about Third. It's a really fantastic album, a little more raw and industrial feeling than their previous works. Even better than Dummy IMO. I also got my hands on their singer Beth Gibbons solo album Out of Season with Talk Talk's former bassist Paul Webb. No Trip-hop, just folk with a little jazz here and there.

I've heard Machine Gun from the album and I really liked that.

I should try and get hold of their earlier albums.  I was even tempted to get some Massive Attack a few years back.

Yea, I've been contemplating getting some Massive Attack here lately and perhaps some Supreme beings of leisure from my girlfriend.

There isn't much electronic pop music I like but I have liked what I've heard by Portishead and Massive Attack.  Oh and even Air I've enjoyed.

And check out Sébastien Tellier as well.  I find him quite intriguing.  He's rumoured to be a son of a member of Magma too.

"Politics is Sébastien Tellier's second album, released in 2004. It features prominent drumming provided by Tony Allen. The songs are sung in English, German and Spanish."

Interesting.. Tongue

His last album was produced by a member of Daft Punk as well.

Popped down to the local for a couple pints and a cheeseburger.

I was in shock for a minute there - over the jukebox came a Mars Volta track!  Shocked

And more importantly, what beer?

Which one?

I wasn't quite sure, something off Bedlam I think...but Cedric's voice is unmistakable.

And more importantly, what beer?
