Another question:
Does last.fm now accept any length tracks? It registers tracks straight away (instead of half-way through) now and they also update in the Top Artists straight away too. No waiting 'til Sunday for updates.
Before, any track under 30 seconds didn't register, is still the case?
|
I don't think they've changed it... I haven't noticed any difference. I could try scrobbling "Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love" though.

I believe it's all tracks 32 seconds or less.

The reason I ask is because tracks appear as soon as a track starts now. Before you had to wait until just under half-way through before it appeared.

I occasionally try to BREEEEEEEEEEEEE when I'm out at the club and a BREEEEEing song comes on. But I get a sore throat and need to drink a lot of Coca-Cola Coke Tm. Wow, this maudlin of the Well intro sounds like something from Final Fantasy.

What the hell... my MP3s are screwed. The track shows as 1:38 in length yet it's 2:23 in... what the hell?

Really? I haven't heard anything from them before; I may listen to that new album.

I think you'll like them. They have a few BREEEEEEEEEEs but it's not harsh like BtBaM. More like Opeth really.
They're also a very technical band and aren't always metal.
I'm listening to Bath. I downloaded the new one just now.

Okay. I'll give them a try then. Opeth > Batboom

Yes. But Colors > Anything Opeth has done.

Yes, Opeth are better than Batboom but I did like a lot of Alaska. I'll try Colors eventually.
And these MP3s really are screwed... The Ferryman registered on last.fm just now but now it's disappeared!

Still Life by VdGG > Still Life by Opeth > Still Life by Iron Maiden
I like Ghost Reveries. It's the album I'm most familiar with by them. The first track by Opeth I ever heard though was The Drapery Falls.

I hate having PoS in 8th position. I'm not deleting them though. I'm not that callous. I just have to play more Nucleus and Nuit Caline a la Villa Mon Reve.

The only two PoS albums I can really still listen to are their first two. Everything else either gets on my nerves, sounds like exaggerated/pretentious bullsh*t, or in the case of Be, both.
