I've been tired for ages but I got up late and shouldn't be this tired, so I've remained awake and haven't done anything, due to my tiredness.  I also don't want to sleep.

Besides, isn't every Lost episode ever, completely amazing? Wink

Yeah. This one was really weird though. I'll have to watch it again.

They're all weird.

The plotline for Lost seems very convoluted. LOL

I was reading about Aethenor earlier and it seems they might be right up Alex and Rico's street.  It features a member of Sunn O))) as well as Guapo's Daniel O'Sullivan.  I read they often remind the listener of Klaus Schulze's Cyborg.

You can't even begin to understand it until you watch it.

That album I just heard just knocked me to the floor.  Amazing!

It's got all the elements of avant-prog I like in one album.  Plus it's a concept album too.

When (more like if), I get my Herculean project off the ground and I make the amazing album I am Not Agatha Christie, it shall be very much in this style.

It also happens to feature one of mine and Pat's favourite saxophonists.  The strange thing is, I recognised it as him before I looked up whether he was on the album. Big smile

I am always here.

I hadn't heard of this until now, so in memoriam I have been looking at it for amusement. I thought prostitutes were more expensive than $150/half hour, but maybe the std is where the real cost is. And for some reason I found this post hilarious, which I'm copying so nobody bitches at me. I think it's because I imagine her using a thesaurus to get the phrase upscale gentleman.
Quote I aim to please you with every part of my exotic existence - w4m - 18

Let me pamper you and make you feel like the upscale gentleman you are.
I specialize in the art of seduction so come and experience ultimate pleasure.
My passions are wild and my imagination is endless.
Indulge in complete bliss with me - let me be your escape.
Please call me anytime to set an appointment.

At least she had something that looked like a real picture; I saw a bunch with obvious watermarks, which makes me laugh and cry.

Sorry for giving your computer HPV.

Last note of the day for me:

I want to punch the engineer who put the oil filter of a 1991 Honda Accord in a very inaccessible place, just
above the exhaust.

Censored you!

It's hard to say if FOABP is prog rock personally.
That has nothing to do with how I feel about the music quality wise, it's a solid 9/10 for me, but I feel only about 3 of the tracks on the album are in prog territory.

So? f**k the prog label. If it is great music, then who cares if it is progressive? I mean, everything is progressive, even regression. It is all subjective. All things move forward to someone, and progress to someone. Why does this site even exist? I mean, what do most of these bands progress to and from? Or does progression even matter?

You know, I think we need a new genre category added. Non-prog. Why? Because, what is the most important factor in the creation of progressive? Non progressive. If there wasn't any non-progressive, there could be no progressive. And you know, that means all bands should be put in prog related, ever.

Without being 100% Prog, received clear MUSICAL influence of this genre, OR

- Are widely accepted as MUSICALLY influential to the development of Progressive Rock by the community,

Well, all bands that aren't prog are here so we can have something to progress from. So they all should be in there. What could have possibly influenced progressive more than music that gave people a reason to progress? And why isn't the inventor of music on this site? I am sure he/she was essential to something progressive. And what about classical composers?

That was fun.
