It is kinda nice, isn't it?

I'm glad I have someone else to talk about electronic music with. Big smile

Tell me about it, I'm frankly shocked. ShockedLOL

Was a member on TD's forums for a while, but I dumped the place after a group of uber-posters (we're tiny kids compared to them) started monopolizing the thread, and were super-optimistic with everything TD had or was releasing, including the obvious garbage.

I actually lurked PA from early 2005 (I remember the Octavarium deal when it first came out) until late 2007, and I lurked a couple other sites (TD's included). I never joined them though because of fans and posters like that, and because I never have any motivation to. I stopped luring at those after a while and just concentrated here when I noticed that it had the perfect base of posters on it and all the music that I enjoyed talking about.

Now Guapo's Black Oni is much more my thing.  Noisy, evocative and much like Alex's reaction to Mirage (not the Camel release!), I also feel like it puts me in another world.

Klaus Schulze's music is going to be even harder to get high on my last.fm charts than Tangerine Dream. That's insane. LOL

Oh well, it's naturally fix itself out over so much time, I imagine.

I'm closing in on 1000 Schulze tracks listened on Last.FM.

That basically means I spinned around 300 Schulze albums. LOL

Black Oni walks over Elixirs.

Oh and it sounds better on proper speakers instead of headphones.  It's one of the few albums I actually tend to play on the stereo more than on headphones on the laptop.

To reach my top 50 alone, he'll need another 200 plays. LOL

Elixirs! Heart

I will hopefully listen to those 3 albums chronologically, and see which one I like the most (if I can choose).

You've not heard Black Oni yet. Wink

But Pat and I have decided you may actually dislike it.

We'll see if you're right.

Until then, Elixirs! Heart

Elixirs is the least interesting album of the Daniel O'Sullivan era of Guapo.  I think I even prefer Five Suns to it.

Dark Side of the Moog, haha. Nice title. I've read about that before, I remember.

What are you referring to, Alex?

Guapo's Black Oni is not good when you have a headache.  So be careful.  It's loud and noisy.
