I'm just missing the new one.

So you're saying you have the 3 CD Trilogie au Trianon (aka Trilogie Theusz Hamtaahk) as well as the two Retrospektiw's and Live in London (which I think might be a bootleg)?

Yep. Not sure which one's my favorite though; I like the Trilogie as much as Retrospektiw.

Mmmm Stravinsky.

Mmmm that Sibelius piece he wrote on the toilet.

Rite Of Spring man!! Rite Of Spring!!

And I'll miss it. Cry

As for Sibelius, it's the lovely Violin Concerto no student from my Conservatory even considered approaching.

I think it's that one he composed on the toilet.  An amazing piece.

That's crazy.
Composing on the toilet.

! Shocked

That is crazy.

I occasionally think of riffs, melodies, or techniques randomly while I'm in the shower, but that's it. LOL

I occasionally think of your mom when I'm in the shower

Self-censoring for the win.

I think an ultimate version of M.D.K. needs to be made.

I like the intro and ending of Retrospektiw I-II.  I like the brass of the studio and I like the awesome musicianship and the James MacGaw and Philippe Bussonnet solos on the Trianon version.

Got it as my #4  album for now, so much more coming out this year.

Same here. This year is going to be awesome, I know it.

I especially can't wait for Riverside's and dredg's new albums due next month. As well as Magma's and Wintersun's new discs later this year. Approve

Mmmm Magma
Mmmm Hammill
Mmmm Riverside

I shall definitely get the new Riverside.  I hope it's good though.  I have a signed copy of their last album. Big smile

I would like to coin the term Mammill

For when stuff sounds like Magma and Peter Hammill.

LOL

When does that happen though?

It hasn't yet, AFAIK. That's why I was coining it early LOL

Oh, okay. LOL

I'd actually want to hear that just out of curiosity. It might be really awful or really awesome.

I think of sequences when I'm that bored.

I actually composed music for around 100 solo albums in my head when I was younger, but I didn't wrote any music down and I soon forgot all the tunes. LOL.

I hate that. Angry

I've done that before too. Thankfully, that doesn't happen hardly anymore because I'm usually in my house when I'm thinking of it and I just write down some notation.

That would be sweet. I'd like to do that, but I don't have enough money right now.

I think a bulk order of Magma is in order, starting with Studio Zund.

That's despite owning the first three albums on CD.  I'll have to sell them or something.

I pretty much fell asleep through Zeit.  It was incredibly boring.

To each his own.

I personally love it. It's a great example of music that is incredibly economical and minimalistic, yet still completely artistic and enthralling.

Zeit rhymes with sh*te. LOLEmbarrassed

It goes nowhere and doesn't develop. LOL  I wouldn't call it enthralling.

Now Alpha Centauri wasn't bad.  I'd give that a 3/5.
