I thought about that. But it's 11:30PM and most of my family is asleep. Tongue

Yeah, I know. I usually prefer to blast Meshuggah on my desktop speakers though, so I'll save them for tomorrow.

But I suspect it'll sound better through headphones... unless you have amazing desktop speakers.

After this I'm actually stopping my TD marathon and I'll pick it up again later. I made it to 1990.

What should I listen to...

Art Zoyd.

Hmmm... perhaps. I may need something more directly energetic though.

Brigades Speciales is very energetic!

I can't go for any Avant right now. Not after all that TD. I need like, metal.

It is just you. I didn't make that connection at all.

Well it certainly reminds me of something.

Alpha Centauri is growing on me though... although it's not as groovy as the debut.

And I won't lie but when I borrowed a MicroKorg, I once played a very long tune that sounded very much like Fly and Collision with Comas Sola, sans Flute.

I pretty much pressed a few keys and twiddled and pressed buttons randomly.

My laptop speakers are horrible.

My desktop speakers however are god-given.

Isn't this the same argument that people use with regards to Avant?

Some do.

It depends what avant-garde.

I'm not saying what I played was structured or as good as TD but it wasn't that far off.  Bear in mind TD did it in 1972 and I had much more sophisticated technology.

They're nothing fancy. I'm definitely not rich.

They just have very good sound.

Temporarily. LOL

What's better: My obsessive talking of Rush, TD, or HC? (Add in Coltrane or Animal Collective maybe too) Wink
