Maybe I can nudge aside Stratosfear, because it's not quite the most obvious masterpiece by TD (but it's got lots of hidden gem-spots, nonetheless), but choosing between Phaedra, Ricochet and Rubycon. I can't do it!

Well, technically, my namesake is of course my favourite and my soul album, but it's which classic TD is brighter than the other classic TD in this case, and I have to resume to being an uber-fanboy.

They're rarely vocal, yes. Cyclone was heavily controversial because of this, but every TD connoisseur actually agrees that the album kicks ass, and the lamentation over under 10 minutes of vocalisation is aberant, once Madrigal Meridian starts.

La Divina Commedia is very well-conceived too, vocal-instrumentally. Perhaps only Paradiso is a bit lackluster (in everything, but vocals more than ever).

Yeah, I just proposed Skyclad be added to progressive metal, but it will probably be rejected.

Is anyone even vaguely familiar with this band?
