Mars Polaris. I was 14, and although already familiarized with TD's best, this one gave me a cloud nine experience. Very good album, in fact, superb given the period.

I just got that one and some others you recommended me, so it'll be my first listen when it comes around chronologically. Can't wait.

After 17 albums, my TD play count on last.fm still has only gone up about 70 plays. And that's including Sorcerer and Thief.

Sorry, I get Tangerine Dream and Ozric Tentacles confused, so I am useless in a conversation about Tangerine Dream. Not that I am that useful in other conversations, but that is besides the point.

Have you heard any of either? (My song just finished, but I'll stick around just for a few more minutes before I try composing)

I have 2 or 3 titles from both bands, but haven't listened to either in a while. I thought that OT's Erpland was excellent however.

You should try Jurassic Shift if you don't have it; that and Erpland go really well together. My personal Ozrics favorites though go kinda like: 1. Spirals in Hyperspace 2. Waterfall Cities 3. The Floor's Too Far Away 4. Jurassic Shift 5. A bunch of albums tied because they're all really good Something like that.

I've only heard that once ever, so I don't even really remember it. I don't remember it being happy though, haha.

Okay, now I'm out of here for a bit. I should be back soon though; I'm going to go pretend to be Vander (David says my natural facial expressions are almost just as bad, without me even trying).

Sorry to hear that. Anything in particular?
| I would explain, but I really don't want this business out there. It involves my wife's grandmother, and a really sh*tty situation there may not be an easy solution to.

Oh of course - don't mean to pry, obviously.
| I don't mind being asked. It's nice that you care. I just really shouldn't (and don't want to) talk about it. I have to make a phone call today on her behalf, and I hope some sort of solution to this problem can be made. So if you want to say a prayer (even as vague as I've described things), I would appreciate it.

True, not shiny happy, but I found it more melancholic than dark-desperate. And I absolutely love it. EDIT: Sorry it depressed you, though. And that you were depressed in the first place.

It's also sad not having my wife and son around here all day. It makes for some lonesome feelings.
