Holy hell, I just noticed Rob's review of that Hammill solo album.  1900+ words.  Shocked

Yeah, that was pretty long even by my standards. To be fair, that's mainly because I deliberately took a lot of time to try to pin down my thoughts properly on that one (the original draft went 'I love this bit. I love this bit. I love the bit in the middle.' etc.) and if I let myself do that, it always goes into something ridiculous word count rather than being nice and crisp/concise. That said, I'm not professional, so I don't need to pretend my reviews aren't mainly self-indulgence LOL.

Jim Morrison would be so proud of you and your self-indulgence. Wink

All of this VDGG talk, and then everyone leaves at the same time like a bunch of lemmings.

^yeah, just saw it, and posted about it.

I really prefer their debut, but that's still a great album from a overlooked band, would really like that many Alt. Rock bands had the same potential as that of Blind Melon...

Of course there's the RHCP, and some others, but overall, there's a big lack of good musicians coming from Alt. Rock bands..

I actually listened to The Deepest Purple: The Best of Deep Purple earlier today too.  Good stuff.

I've only a couple of compilations from Uriah Heep, although I did purchase Demons and Wizards recently. (I think that is the name).

Oh well, unfortunately, it is time for me to run out and grab dinner so I am now following the other lemmings and taking off.  Sorry.

Ah yeah, The Magician's Birthday - heard that one recently

Side-splittingly funny... I swear there was a kazoo in there?

Quite good, though.
