I note that some of my reviews are listed as "rating only" - this is incorrect - I always write a review - sometimes it appears that the wording gets lost - and you can't go back and add a review becuase you're locked out having given a rating already - it's really annoying. Anyone know why?

It is possible that an admin may have deleted your written review if it violated one of the rules of the site in regards to what is permitted in a review. However, if this were the case, they would probably have sent you a message asking you to fix your review accordingly. And generally they just delete the violating comments, not the entire review. I have no insight as to whether this is the case or not. If you didn't receive a message from an admin, then this probably isn't the case.

Hmm. Curious.
The last rating you submitted was for Blackfield II this afternoon - the records show no review for this and no modifcation. Did you submit a review for this?
The three other "ratings only" that show on your review list are...
...again, these show no record of having been modified.

Yeh - all these I put in reviews as well - and I definitely didn't say anything outrageous - most innocous (hmm a big word there!) infact...
Is there any way you can go back and add a review to a "rating only" one? Thanks for answering... |

If your reviews contained less than 100 words, they count as ratings only. |

You can edit your reviews - so I assume you can also edit empty ones too.
go to the Collabs page and login: http://www.progarchives.com/all_collaborators.asp
thenn select "Edit Reviews" ... there should be an edit icon on the right of each review list entry Edited by Dean - May 09 2009 at 06:45 |

Thanks Diaby - I didn't know the rule about 100 words - seems a little silly though - I sometimes quite like a quick review - some reviews are very long and very heavy, and I find I don't have time to read through it all.
Thanks Dean also - I'll try what you suggest |

I'm glad I could help. I had once the same problem, and although I knew about the rules, I sent a very short review 4 times. I always added something to it, but I never counted the words accurately. Atkingani and Dean helped me a lot then.
