Community structure? Like a textbook or novel? I'm reading the Lennon bio...still. What a F-ed up childhood he had. |

He has a podcast called Out of the Game, and also his Twitter account. http://mexicutedbyhepitacos.libsyn.com/ http://shawnelliott.blogspot.com/ http://twitter.com/ShawnElliott Edited by KoS - May 09 2009 at 22:44 |

Ecology. Who's the author of that biography? It's always interesting to know if they have some kind of "real" connection to the person it's about. And Henry: sounds promising (about WALL*E) |

I can't decide whether or not this game is fun.
Anyone see the new Star Trek? I've heard it's pretty good, and I'm a big fan of the original series, and while it doesn't have Shatner, at least it has Nimoy, who is almost as good. I could listen to Spock and Kirk talk all day.
Finn, I don't know where Kos goes, but I like to get links from Metafilter, and I sometimes go to digg and reddit when I'm bored enough that I'm willing to sift through crap.

I was supposed to see it today, but the friend who I haven't seen in 2 years and wanted to "make-up" with said I couldn't go with my other old high school friend and him and his girlfriend today. Douche. I should have gone anyways

Henry: I'm a huge fan of original series too and I'm skeptical of all the good buzz. I have a feeling the things people react to are not what I'll enjoy (special effects and action.) I like OS for its cheesy dry appearance and cerebral content.
KOS: Cool, thanks. And how was go-karting? Don: Just a sec.....checking....Philip Norman: London based writer of many rock bios and covered the Beatles in the late 60s for some mag. It is pretty well done, so far. |

OK, sounds good. A friend has got an excellent book with song-by-song analysis of the Beatles' output. Really amusing and interesting (from what I've read so far). Great if you're a fan of the band and want some anecdotes as well as studio insight |

God that sounds like fun. I might have to try it sometime when I'm up north, MN, where they have stuff like that. Wherabouts are you? I've been to LA a few times, mostly around Huntington. |

It's funny, I never get tired of reading about the Beatles. Not sure if its them, or the 60s UK, that I love. Both....not sure why.....I wasn't there. Guess I just fantasize about partying in swinging London |

So last night I had a dream that I was going to make out with a girl, but for some reason she said she wanted to listen to Gentle Giant during the act. I told her I didn't have them as I was still evaluating and exploring etc., and she left. Then Dr Manhattan came and made fun of me and I woke up. :(

The track is located near the intersection of the 110 and 405 freeways. Like most people in LA, I have a love/hate relationship with this place. |

Wow, James is right - Magma's Trilogie albums do have a lot of themes in common. Wurdah Itah and MDK share a lot of points.
